Yousif's collection
had something for everyone from tailored cocktail dresses, lame
skinny pants, fishtail evening dresses, multicolored fringe layered
skirts, billowy balloon sculptured dresses, to chiffon tutus. The
color pallette consisted of red, gold, blue, purple, pumpkin, and
black and the different fabrics included lace, lame, chiffon, satin,
and leather. I loved the layering of different fabrics and specifically
lace over lame.
Drawing from a palette
of rich purples, deep pinks and luxurious black, this collection
shows growth in its execution of trademark feminine pieces. The
line incorporates full circle skirts with intriguing hemlines, dresses
with a 1950’s nostalgic appeal - a modern day lady with sophistication
beyond her years. Dreamy chiffon blouses and delicate knits complete
each look, for a fanciful feminine appeal.
